Smiledesign is our procedure for transforming smiles quickly, comfortably and with the minimum of hassle. It does not involve moving teeth, unlike braces.
Your Consultation
During the consultation, Dr Kevin will discuss your problem, options and pros/limitations of each option. This allows our patients to make an informed choice! Once you have chosen Smiledesign, moulds and pre-operative photographs are taken of you. On the next visit, Dr Kevin will present an initial design for your approval. With your initial approval the work starts on your teeth. After preparation of the teeth, rubber impressions are taken to manufacture the new smile. An this stage, the initial design is “mocked-up” on the patient’s teeth for them to approve.

Patients wear their mock-ups home for the duration of the manufacture. Please note : any further adjustments are still possible up to two days after. On the final visit, the new smile is checked for final approval by the patient. After bonding, patients can eat immediately after! The smile can be further fine-tuned on consultation between Dr. Kevin and the patient.

Dracula Teeth
Canine teeth that are sticking out, giving that “Dracula” appearance! They not only make the smile look messy but can also affect the shape of your lips and even speech!
Lower Crowding
A very common problem. Due to a lack of space, relapse of orthodontic treatment or even….stress!
Open Bites
Some patients have front teeth that don’t meet giving them an “open bite”. This results in a less attractive smile and even a speech defect. Patients will not be able to use their teeth to bite as they don’t meet.
Worn Out Teeth
Severe tooth wear can be due to grinding of teeth, overbrushing, acid attacking the teeth or a combination of the above. Older patients have been eating and brushing their teeth for much longer and the teeth can tend to be very translucent and start to chip.
Crooked Teeth
One of the main complaints we hear from our patients is crooked teeth. Whether they are slightly crooked or severely crowded Smiledesign solves these problems quickly, easily and comfortably!
Gaps
Gaps between teeth can be due to small teeth, extra wide jaws. You may also have teeth that are congenitally missing or extracted.

Teeth can be congenitally missing or extracted.
Underbites
Where the lower teeth are protruding in front of the upper teeth. The problem can be a jaw problem or only teeth. The normal solution for this is braces and jaw surgery. Smiledesign can correct this without the need for painful braces and even more painful surgery.
DIscoloured Teeth
Teeth discolouration can be intrinsic(within the tooth structure) or extrinsic(stains). Extrinsic teeth probably need a good clean. Intrinsic stains may be bleached if the colour is even. If the colour is patchy or the teeth are very translucent, bleaching is not advisable as the result will not be satisfactory.
Gummy Smiles
Showing too much gums or very small teeth does not look nice. Smiledesign allows us to easily correct gums and increase the length and size of teeth to create a more beautiful smile.
Old Dental Work
Old bridges and crowns can have a dark or black margin and need replacing. Smiledesign allows us to design the new teeth for optimum aesthetics.
Retained Baby Teeth
Some patients have retained baby teeth. These are because there are congenitally missing or misaligned adult teeth. The teeth may not need removal if they are stable.
